Appln. Rounding Precision Field, Currency Table

For this currency, you can specify in this field the size of the interval that will be allowed as a rounding difference when you apply entries in different currencies to one another.

In Microsoft Dynamics NAV, it is the currency of the entry that you apply to one or more other entries that determines the interval for rounding differences.

It is only possible to calculate and post the rounding difference if the entry you apply to one or more other entries is a payment entry.

If, for example, an entry in LCY is applied to an entry in EUR and an application rounding precision of 0.02 is specified for LCY, then the program will accept a difference of LCY 0.02 or less, and the program will completely close the entries involved in the application. The rounding difference is posted to the account specified in the Debit Curr. Appln. Rndg. Acc. field or the Credit Curr. Appln. Rndg. Acc. in the Customer Posting Groups window or Debit Curr. Appln. Rndg. Acc. or the Credit Curr. Appln. Rndg. Acc. in the Vendor Posting Groups window. You can see the posted rounding difference in the Detailed Cust. Ledg. Entry window or the Detailed Vendor Ledg. Entry window.
