Company Amount Field, Contributions Table

Specifies the amount of social security tax from the purchase that your company is liable for.

This amount is withheld and paid to the social security tax authority, Instituto Nazionale Previdenza Sociale (INPS). The Company Amount is calculated by subtracting the Free-Lance Amount from the Total Social Security Amount.

Additional Information

Certain types of vendors are subject to social security withholding taxes. You are required by law to withhold a predetermined percent of the social security tax and remit the amount to the tax authority, Instituto Nazionale Previdenza Sociale (INPS). The vendor is responsible for paying the remaining social security tax.

You can set up and modify social security withholding tax codes using the Contribution Codes window.
