Sales Unit of Measure Field, Item Table
Contains the unit of measure code the program must use when you sell the item. It is automatically filled in, when you fill in the Base Unit of Measure. Choose the field to see a list of available unit of measure codes.
You should only change this field if you sell the item in units that differ from the code in the Base Unit of Measure field. In this case, you must also set up the appropriate conversion factor in the Item Unit of Measure table.
Important
If you do not use the base unit of measure, or if you delete the sales unit of measure on the item card, the Unit of Measure Code field will not be filled out on the sales line.
