Invoice Rounding Account Field, Vendor Posting Group Table

Specifies to which account to post amounts resulting from invoice rounding when you post transactions involving vendors.

You can use this field if your program is set to round vendor invoice amounts. If an invoice amount is rounded, the program will create an invoice line that includes the amount that results from rounding. Before you post the invoice, the invoice amount after rounding can be seen in the Purchase Statistics window.

You can specify invoice rounding for each currency in the Currencies window.

To specify invoice rounding for a currency, fill in the fields as follows:

Invoice Rounding Precision

Here you must specify the size of the interval to be used for rounding invoice amounts.

Invoice Rounding Account

Here you must specify the account to which the amount that results from invoice rounding will be posted.

Invoice Rounding Type

Here you must specify how to round the amount, for example up or down.

Invoice Rounding in the Purchases & Payables Setup window.

Here you must specify whether you want the program to use invoice rounding as you have defined it in the three fields mentioned above, for purchase invoices.
