Standard Cost Field, Item Table
Specifies the unit cost that is used as a standard measure. You must fill in this field if you selected Standard in the Costing Method field.
Additional Information
You can change the standard cost, but this only affects new postings. If you want to change standard cost for already posted entries, then you must use the revaluation journal.
