Configuring Win32_LogicalDisk FreeSpace

The FreeSpace property of the Win32_LogicalDisk class in Win32 WMI Provider provides the amount of free disk space. To use FreeSpace, add the Disk Quota User Interface component to the configuration in Target Designer.

Please note that adding the Disk Quota User Interface component to the configuration considerably increases the image footprint, because Disk Quota User Interface depends on several other components.

To configure Win32_LogicalDisk FreeSpace

  1. In Target Designer, open the configuration.

  2. In the configuration editor, expand the Components node.

  3. Expand the node for WMI Win32 Provider and choose Settings.

    The settings for WMI Win32 Provider are displayed in the details pane.

  4. Check the box to add the Disk Quota User Interface component to the configuration.
