By inserting the SOAP ActivityId Header Block into the SOAP header, activity traces can be correlated across client and server. Correlated activity traces provide the user with direct correlation of error traces for the same unit of processing across application endpoints, such as a request. Errors emitted at different endpoints for the same unit of processing are grouped in the same activity, even across process or machine boundaries.
