SerialPort Constructor (String, Int32)

Initializes a new instance of the SerialPort class using the specified port name and baud rate.
Assembly: System (in System.dll)
Parameters
- portName
- Type: System::String
The port to use (for example, COM1).
- baudRate
- Type: System::Int32
The baud rate.

|---|---|
| IOException | The specified port could not be found or opened. |
Use this constructor to create a new instance of the SerialPort class when you want to specify the port name and the baud rate.
Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows XP SP2 x64 Edition, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
