2.2.2.1.9 ResourceFile Element

The <ResourceFile> element contains the name of the file that is required in order to launch a remote resource on a server. This element defines the following attributes:

  • FileExtension: The file extension of the resource file that is defined in this resource. This file extension is what the client SHOULD use to determine how to launch the resource file. For example, if the file is for the terminal server client, then this file extension MUST be ".rdp".

  • URL: The URL to the location of this resource file. This attribute MUST be present if the resource file is available from a web server.

  • Content: This element is ignored by the client and MUST NOT be used by the server.
