ContentDesigner::GetDesignTimeHtml Method (DesignerRegionCollection)

Gets the markup that is used to represent the control at design time from the specified DesignerRegionCollection object.

Parameters

regions
Type: System.Web.UI.Design::DesignerRegionCollection

The DesignerRegionCollection associated with the design-time markup generated by GetDesignTimeHtml.

Return Value

Type: System::String
The markup that is used to represent the control at design time.

The markup generated by GetDesignTimeHtml includes region identifiers. GetDesignTimeHtml should add DesignerRegion elements to the DesignerRegionCollection specified by the regions parameter.
