Arguments Dialog Box
Use the Arguments dialog box to specify new or edit existing arguments for the tool. This dialog box appears when you launch an external tool that has the Prompt for Arguments option selected in the External Tools dialog box.
Note
The options available in dialog boxes, and the names and locations of menu commands you see, might differ from what is described in Help depending on your active settings or edition. To change your settings, choose Import and Export Settings on the Tools menu. For more information, see Visual Studio Settings.

Arguments
Lists the current variables specified for the tool in the External Tools dialog box. For a complete list of predefined arguments and their definitions, see Arguments for External Tools. You can also enter a custom argument.Command line
Displays the value for the arguments specified in the Arguments box.
