DeclarativeCatalogPartDesigner.GetDesignTimeHtml Method ()

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Overrides the parent method to prevent rendering of the control.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.Design.WebControls.WebParts
Assembly: System.Design (in system.design.dll)

public:
virtual String^ GetDesignTimeHtml () override
public String GetDesignTimeHtml ()
public override function GetDesignTimeHtml () : String

Return Value

Either an empty string ("") or the value of GetEmptyDesignTimeHtml.

If there is no WebPartsTemplate associated with the control, the designer displays the standard gray box with the class name and instance name of the control. Otherwise, no design-time rendering occurs at all because the check boxes and Web Parts titles are rendered by the CatalogPartChrome instead of the DeclarativeCatalogPart itself.
