Check Hyperlinks Dialog Box (Explorer)
Checks a set of HTML files for invalid links to other files. The results of a hyperlink check are shown in the Check Hyperlinks Results dialog box.
Dialog Box Access
In Visual SourceSafe Explorer, click Web, then click Check Hyperlinks.
Check which files?
Specifies the files to check and indicates whether to check external links. Possible options are:Option Description Check files in my working folder
Checks hyperlinks in changed files in your working folder that are ready to check in.
Check files in Visual SourceSafe project
Checks files in the database project to make sure there are no broken links before deployment of a Web site.
Check external links on World Wide Web
Checks hyperlinks to sites on the World Wide Web that are not in your project tree.
Recursive
Checks links for all subprojects included in the specified project.
- Project
Specifies the project to check.
- URL
Displays the URL represented by the specified project. Your database administrator sets this URL for each Web project.
