Convert.ToDecimal Method (UInt16)

Converts the value of the specified 16-bit unsigned integer to an equivalent decimal number.

Parameters

Type: System.UInt16

The 16-bit unsigned integer to convert.

Return Value

Type: System.Decimal
The decimal number that is equivalent to value.

The following example converts an array of 16-bit unsigned integers to Decimal values.

ushort[] numbers = { UInt16.MinValue, 121, 12345, UInt16.MaxValue };
decimal result;

foreach (ushort number in numbers)
{
   result = Convert.ToDecimal(number);
   Console.WriteLine("Converted the UInt16 value {0} to {1}.",
                     number, result);
}   
// The example displays the following output: 
//       Converted the UInt16 value 0 to 0.
