Specifies the structure and semantics of conceptual schema definition language (CSDL) annotations that are used in business intelligence (BI) applications.

This document has been updated to introduce functionality enhancements as follows:

  • Added features that further describe specific model capabilities.

  • Added features that further define the levels of support for DAX functions in DAX queries.

  • Added features that further annotate the named set of entity instances in an entity set.

  • Added features that further define various collections of translated names or descriptions of different cultures.
