WindowsIdentity.Dispose Method ()
.NET Framework (current version)
Releases all resources used by the WindowsIdentity.
Assembly: mscorlib (in mscorlib.dll)
[<ComVisibleAttribute(false)>] abstract Dispose : unit -> unit [<ComVisibleAttribute(false)>] override Dispose : unit -> unit
Implements
IDisposable.Dispose()Call Dispose when you are finished using the WindowsIdentity. The Dispose method leaves the WindowsIdentity in an unusable state. After calling Dispose, you must release all references to the WindowsIdentity so the garbage collector can reclaim the memory that the WindowsIdentity was occupying. For more information, see Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources and Implementing a Dispose Method.
Note |
|---|
Always call Dispose before you release your last reference to the WindowsIdentity. Otherwise, the resources it is using will not be freed until the garbage collector calls the WindowsIdentity object's Finalize method. |
