Font::ToString Method ()

 

Returns a human-readable string representation of this Font.

Return Value

Type: System::String^

A string that represents this Font.

The returned string has the following format:

[Font: Name=fontName, Size=size, Units=units, GDiCharSet=gdiCharSet, GdiVerticalFont=boolean]

The following code example is designed for use with Windows Forms, and it requires PaintEventArgse, which is a parameter of the Paint event handler. The code performs the following actions:

  • Creates a Font.

  • Gets a string that represents the font.

  • Displays the string in a message box.
