4.2 View Definitions

In this example, a client creates a new table view that includes the following 10 columns:

  • Importance

  • Reminder

  • Icon

  • Flag Status

  • Attachment

  • From

  • Subject

  • Received

  • Size

  • Categories

When this new view is applied and transported to the server, the PidTagViewDescriptorBinary property (section 2.2.6.1) stores the column description data and the PidTagViewDescriptorStrings property (section 2.2.6.3) stores the column headers.
