ColorConverter::ConvertTo Method (ITypeDescriptorContext, CultureInfo, Object, Type)

Converts the specified object to another type.

Parameters

context
Type: System.ComponentModel::ITypeDescriptorContext
A formatter context. Use this object to extract additional information about the environment from which this converter is being invoked. Always check whether this value is nullptr. Also, properties on the context object may return nullptr.
culture
Type: System.Globalization::CultureInfo
A CultureInfo that specifies the culture to represent the color.
value
Type: System::Object
The object to convert.
destinationType
Type: System::Type
The type to convert the object to.

Return Value

Type: System::Object
An Object representing the converted value.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

destinationtype is nullptr.

NotSupportedException

The conversion cannot be performed.

The most common conversion is to or from a string.
