ConfigurationElementCollection Constructor

Initializes a new instance of the ConfigurationElementCollection class.

Namespace:  System.Configuration
Assembly:  System.Configuration (in System.Configuration.dll)

protected ConfigurationElementCollection()

You create a new instance of the ConfigurationElementCollection when your application needs to create a custom ConfigurationElementCollection.

The following code example shows how to use a customized constructor.

public UrlsCollection()
{
    // Add one url to the collection. This is
    // not necessary; could leave the collection
    // empty until items are added to it outside
    // the constructor.
    UrlConfigElement url =
        (UrlConfigElement)CreateNewElement();
    Add(url);
}
