Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Returns a list of the available ActiveX® Data Objects (ADO) for the .NET Framework (ADO.NET) provider names.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.Design.WebControls
Assembly: System.Design (in system.design.dll)

public:
virtual StandardValuesCollection^ GetStandardValues (
	ITypeDescriptorContext^ context
) override
public StandardValuesCollection GetStandardValues (
	ITypeDescriptorContext context
)
public override function GetStandardValues (
	context : ITypeDescriptorContext
) : StandardValuesCollection

Parameters

context

An object implementing the ITypeDescriptorContext that provides information about a context to a type converter so that the type converter can perform a conversion.

Return Value

A TypeConverter.StandardValuesCollection containing the names of the available ADO.NET providers.

The GetStandardValues method uses the GetFactoryClasses method to return a DataTable object containing the ADO.NET provider names. It converts this DataTable to a string array, and then converts this array to a TypeConverter.StandardValuesCollection object.

The context parameter is not used by the GetStandardValues.
