3.1 OAuthExtension Client Details

The client role of the OAuth 2.0 Protocol Extensions corresponds to any OAuth 2.0 client that needs to request authorization to access a resource secured by an AD FS server using the Authorization Code Grant flow defined in the OAuth 2.0 protocol specified in [RFC6749] and the OAuth 2.0 authorization flow for browserless and input-constrained devices defined in the OAuth 2.0 Device Flow protocol specified in [RFC8628].<8>

The client role of this protocol uses the extensions defined in this document.
