View progress on the team dashboard (home page)

Go here to open the Visual Studio 2015 version of this topic.

Teams can view the progress of work from the team home page. Team administrators can add or pin items to this dashboard and re-sequence tiles. Each tile provides team members quick access to the progress of builds, status of work items, or version control paths defined in Team Foundation Server (TFS).

If you need to add a team first, go here.

Visual Studio Online (hosted) and with TFS 2013 Update 2

On the hosted service, or with the upgrade to TFS 2013 Update 2, you can view pinned items on the home page, including flat-list query charts.

Team Foundation Server (on-premises)

For on-premises Team Foundation Server (TFS) deployments, you’ll see tiles arranged under Team favorites. These can, for example, include recent changes made to the source control folder named Invoicing; the status of the build named Northwind CI; and status of work from the work item queries, such as Product Backlog, Active Bugs, and Resolved Bugs.
