Microsoft IT Camps
Our UK IT Pro Team is back on the road again running two-day IT Camps in different locations around the UK. Microsoft IT Camps are no cost, hands-on, technical training events for IT professionals led by Microsoft experts.
We will be hosting two camps at each location. Throughout the first day, you will get hands-on with the latest in ‘device management’. The second day will have a ‘hybrid cloud’ focus and explore the latest in datacentre management with System Centre and Microsoft Azure.
You are welcome to join us for one or both of the days, spaces are limited so be sure to sign up to secure your place early.
Day One: Implementing a Mobile-First World with Microsoft Enterprise Device Infrastructure
The volume and diversity of devices users want to use to access corporate assets grows every day – everything from tablet to phone to wearable devices. While you understand that enabling these devices will make your users more productive, you may also struggle with how to ensure the corporate assets being accessed and the data being stored are secure.
Attend the IT Camp “Implementing a Mobile-First World with Microsoft Enterprise Device Infrastructure” to explore the new enterprise mobility capabilities of Windows 8.1 that make recovery, security and identity management of Windows and non-Windows platforms easier. At this 1-day interactive, hands-on training event, you will deep dive into key enterprise scenarios like identity, information and app protection. You will also learn about mobile device management and drill into the app management features of Microsoft’s MDM and VDI solutions.
Day Two: Extend your Datacenter with Microsoft Azure
If your organisation needs to scale on-demand, rapidly respond to your customers, and maintain total control over your data at all times, consider extending your datacenter and choosing a Hybrid Cloud model infrastructure.
Attend the IT Camp “Extend your Datacenter with Microsoft Azure” to learn how your existing skills are applicable to extending your business beyond the capabilities of your on premises infrastructure. At this 1-day interactive, hands-on training event, you will gain first-hand experience extending your network using Microsoft Azure Virtual Machines and deep dive into key enterprise scenarios like workload migration and networking. You will also explore how to improve performance for storage on virtual machines using the Azure Storage Blob service.
