multiple attribute | multiple property

Sets or retrieves the Boolean value indicating whether multiple items can be selected from a list.

HTML 4.01 Specification, Section 17.6

 

Syntax

HTML<element multiple="p" ... >
JavaScript

p = object.multiple

 

Property values

Type: Boolean

false (false)

Default. Multiple items cannot be selected.

true (true)

Multiple items can be selected.
