XmlNode::GetNamespaceOfPrefix Method (String^)

 

Looks up the closest xmlns declaration for the given prefix that is in scope for the current node and returns the namespace URI in the declaration.

Namespace:   System.Xml
Assembly:  System.Xml (in System.Xml.dll)

virtual String^ GetNamespaceOfPrefix(
	String^ prefix
)

Parameters

prefix
Type: System::String^

The prefix whose namespace URI you want to find.

Return Value

Type: System::String^

The namespace URI of the specified prefix.

This method is a Microsoft extension to the Document Object Model (DOM).

The following example adds a new attribute to the XML document.
