ToolStripItem.OnOwnerFontChanged Method

Raises the FontChanged event when the Font property has changed on the parent of the ToolStripItem.

Namespace: System.Windows.Forms
Assembly: System.Windows.Forms (in system.windows.forms.dll)

protected internal virtual void OnOwnerFontChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected void OnOwnerFontChanged (
	EventArgs e
)
protected internal function OnOwnerFontChanged (
	e : EventArgs
)
Not applicable.

Parameters

e

A EventArgs that contains the event data.

Use the OnOwnerFontChanged method to notify inheritors of the Font property that the font has changed.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Raising an Event.

The OnOwnerFontChanged method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors: When overriding OnOwnerFontChanged in a derived class, be sure to call the base class’s OnOwnerFontChanged method so that registered delegates receive the event.
