ObjectDataSourceView.OnSelected Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Raises the Selected event after the ObjectDataSourceView object has completed a data retrieval operation.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

protected virtual void OnSelected (
	ObjectDataSourceStatusEventArgs e
protected void OnSelected (
	ObjectDataSourceStatusEventArgs e
protected function OnSelected (
	e : ObjectDataSourceStatusEventArgs

An ObjectDataSourceStatusEventArgs that contains the event data.

Raising an event invokes the event handler through a delegate. For more information, see Consuming Events.

The OnSelected method also allows derived classes to handle the event without attaching a delegate. This is the preferred technique for handling the event in a derived class.

Notes to Inheritors When overriding the OnSelected method in a derived class, be sure to call the OnSelected method for the base class so that registered delegates receive the event.
