CreateUserWizard.CreateUserError Event

Note: This event is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Occurs when the membership provider cannot create the specified user account.

Namespace: System.Web.UI.WebControls
Assembly: System.Web (in system.web.dll)

public event CreateUserErrorEventHandler CreateUserError
/** @event */
public void add_CreateUserError (CreateUserErrorEventHandler value)

/** @event */
public void remove_CreateUserError (CreateUserErrorEventHandler value)

JScript supports the use of events, but not the declaration of new ones.

The CreateUserError event is raised on the server when the membership provider specified in the MembershipProvider property fails to create the specified user account.

The error handler is passed a MembershipCreateStatus object that contains the details of the failure from the membership provider. For a list of the possible error conditions, see MembershipCreateStatus.

For more information about handling events, see Consuming Events.
