BaseDataListDesigner.GetTemplateContainerDataSource Method

Gets the data source of the template's container.

Parameters

templateName

A String that specifies the name of the template for which to get the data source.

Return Value

An object that implements an IEnumerable interface containing a design-time DataSource property.

The GetTemplateContainerDataSource method calls the GetResolvedSelectedDataSource method to construct a data source from the object that is specified by the DataSource and DataMember properties of the associated control derived from BaseDataList class.

Notes to Callers The GetTemplateContainerDataSource method is obsolete. Callers should use the GetResolvedSelectedDataSource method instead. The templateName parameter is not used.
