ContentInfo Class

The ContentInfo class represents the CMS/PKCS #7 ContentInfo data structure as defined in the CMS/PKCS #7 standards document. This data structure is the basis for all CMS/PKCS #7 messages.

The ContentInfo type exposes the following members.

Public methodContentInfo(Byte[])The ContentInfo(Byte[]) constructor creates an instance of the ContentInfo class by using an array of byte values as the data and a default object identifier (OID) that represents the content type.
Public methodContentInfo(Oid, Byte[])The ContentInfo(Oid, Byte[]) constructor creates an instance of the ContentInfo class by using the specified content type and an array of byte values as the data.

Public propertyContentThe Content property retrieves the content of the CMS/PKCS #7 message.
Public propertyContentTypeThe ContentType property retrieves the Oid object that contains the object identifier (OID) of the content type of the inner content of the CMS/PKCS #7 message.

Public methodEquals(Object)Determines whether the specified Object is equal to the current Object. (Inherited from Object.)
Protected methodFinalizeAllows an object to try to free resources and perform other cleanup operations before it is reclaimed by garbage collection. (Inherited from Object.)

The HostProtectionAttribute attribute applied to this type or member has the following Resources property value: MayLeakOnAbort. The HostProtectionAttribute does not affect desktop applications (which are typically started by double-clicking an icon, typing a command, or entering a URL in a browser).
