HttpListenerRequest.HttpMethod Property

Note: This property is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Gets the HTTP method specified by the client.

Property Value

A String that contains the method used in the request.

The HTTP method is typically GET or POST, depending on the action desired by the client.

The following code example demonstrates using this property.
