FileWebResponse.System.IDisposable.Dispose Method

This method supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

Releases all resources used by the FileWebResponse.

Namespace: System.Net
Assembly: System (in system.dll)

void IDisposable.Dispose ()
J# supports the use of explicit interface implementations, but not the declaration of new ones.
JScript supports the use of explicit interface implementations, but not the declarations of new ones.

Call System.IDisposable.Dispose when you are finished using the FileWebResponse. The System.IDisposable.Dispose method leaves the FileWebResponse in an unusable state. After calling System.IDisposable.Dispose, you must release all references to the FileWebResponse so the garbage collector can reclaim the memory that the FileWebResponse was occupying. For more information, see Cleaning Up Unmanaged Resources and Implementing a Dispose Method.

NoteNote

Always call System.IDisposable.Dispose before you release your last reference to the FileWebResponse. Otherwise, the resources it is using will not be freed until the garbage collector calls the FileWebResponse object's Finalize method.
