SqlCeResultSet.SetString Method

Sets the value of the specified column to the passed-in String value.

Parameters

  • ordinal
    The ordinal position of the column to set.
  • value
    The value to assign to the specified column.

Remarks

The underlying column must be of type char, nchar, varchar, nvarchar, text, or ntext.

An exception is thrown if the row is not marked as updatable.

An exception is thrown if no field exists at the specified position.
