ConfigurationElement.Unmerge Method

Note: This method is new in the .NET Framework version 2.0.

Modifies the ConfigurationElement object to remove all values that should not be saved.

Parameters

sourceElement

A ConfigurationElement object at the current level containing a merged view of the properties.

parentElement

The parent ConfigurationElement object, or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) if this is the top level.

saveMode

A ConfigurationSaveMode object that determines which property values to include.

Called before the ConfigurationElement object is saved by the Configuration object in order to remove all unneeded properties.
