How to Change the Source Site for a Business Data Project

This topic provides steps for changing the source site for a business data project in Commerce Server staging. The source site is the Commerce Server site that is associated with the underlying business data that you want to stage. You change the source site if you want to stage the business data associated with a different site.

To change the source site for a business data project

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and the click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In Microsoft Management Console (MMC), in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Staging, expand <server name>, and then click Projects.

  3. In the right pane, right-click the project that you want to change, and then click Properties.

  4. In the Project Properties dialog box, on the Project tab, in the Source Site box, type the name of the IIS Web site associated with the business data that you want to stage, and then click OK.
