Developing on the Office Platform (Visual C#)

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for the Microsoft Office System enables you to customize Microsoft Office documents and Microsoft Office Outlook using managed code. Visual Studio Tools for Office adds new functionality to Visual Studio, such as hosting Microsoft Office Word and Microsoft Office Excel as designers within the Visual Studio development environment, the ability to program directly against data and presentation objects, and the ability to use Windows Forms controls on documents and within the Document Actions task pane.
