Application.EventProvidersEnabled Property

Gets a value indicating if the application's event providers are enabled.

Property Value

true if event providers are enabled; otherwise false.

Remarks

When you create an application, its event providers are disabled.

An enabled event provider can submit events to an application. A disabled event provider cannot submit events.

Use the HostedEventProvider.Enable method to enable a single event provider. Use the Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Nmo.HostedEventProviderCollection.Enable method to enable all event providers.

Use the instance's Enable method to enable all instance components, including the components for all applications hosted by the instance. Use the application's Enable method to enable all application components. Use a hosted event provider's Enable method to enable an individual hosted event provider.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
