How to: View Status Using a SourceSafe Plug-in

You can look at the status of a source-controlled item using a SourceSafe plug-in in Visual Studio. Status is reported for a plug-in as it is for Visual SourceSafe. For more information, see How to: View Status.

To view the status of an item from a SourceSafe plug-in:

  1. In Visual Studio, open Solution Explorer and select an item.

  2. On the File menu, click Source Control.

  3. Click SourceSafe Properties.

  4. Check the item status using the properties tabs. These tabs are detailed in How to: View Status.
