InputPanel.Enabled Property

Gets or sets a value indicating whether the soft input panel (SIP) is enabled or disabled.

Namespace: Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms
Assembly: Microsoft.WindowsCE.Forms (in microsoft.windowsce.forms.dll)

public bool Enabled { get; set; }
/** @property */
public boolean get_Enabled ()

/** @property */
public void set_Enabled (boolean value)

public function get Enabled () : boolean

public function set Enabled (value : boolean)

Property Value

true if the SIP is enabled; otherwise, false.

This SIP is enabled when it appears in the application.

When you change the Enabled property to true or false, the EnabledChanged event is raised.

The following code example displays the SIP when a text box receives focus. This code example is part of a larger example provided for the InputPanel component.

private void textBox1_GotFocus(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
    // Display the SIP.
    // Note that the EnabledChanged event occurs
    // whenever the SIP is enabled or disabled.
    inputPanel1.Enabled = true;
