To create a SQL Server class library application, use the SQL Server Project template, which is available from the.
To create a SQL Server Class Library
On the File menu, point to New, and then click Project.
The New Project dialog box appears.
In the Project Types pane, select the Visual C++ node. In the Templates pane, select the SQL Server Project template.
In the Name box, enter a unique name for your application.
A new solution, which contains the new SQL Server class library application, will open in the Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), which automatically prompts you to add a database reference. For more information, see.
