WebProxy Constructor (String)

Initializes a new instance of the WebProxy class with the specified URI.

Assembly:  System (in System.dll)

public WebProxy(
	string Address
)

Parameters

Address
Type: System.String

The URI of the proxy server.

ExceptionCondition
UriFormatException

Address is an invalid URI.

The WebProxy instance is initialized with the Address property set to a Uri instance containing Address.

The following code example demonstrates calling this constructor.

{
    return new WebProxy("http://contoso");

WebProxy* CreateProxyWithHost()
