Set Debug Display Options (Compact 2013)

You can set a variety of display options for the kernel debugger, including any of the following:

  • Formats for data values, expressions, and addresses
  • Parameter types and values
  • Frame pointers
  • File names
  • Symbol names for addresses
  • Floating-point registers
  • Timestamps for debug messages

To set display options for the kernel debugger

  1. In Platform Builder, in your Windows Embedded Compact OS design solution, on the Tools menu, click Options.

  2. In the Options dialog box, in the left pane, expand Platform Builder, click System Debugger, and then click General.

  3. In the right pane, select or clear check boxes to choose your general display options. For information about each option, see Options Dialog Box: System Debugger: General.

  4. In the Options dialog box, in the left pane, under System Debugger, click Verbosity.

  5. In the right pane, select or clear check boxes to choose your verbosity options. For information about each option, see Options Dialog Box: System Debugger: Verbosity.
