To execute the boot loader code, modify the switches and jumpers on the NEC Solution Gear 2-Vr5500 Development Kit.

To modify the Solution Gear 2-Vr5500 baseboard switches and jumpers

  • Verify that the jumpers are in the correct position.

    Note

    JP35 and JP36 are located on the CPU card behind the USB ports. JP13 through JP15 are located on the top edge of the CPU card to the right of the PLCC socket.

    The following table shows the startup control settings.
