Managing Users

A big part of managing your system involves controlling user access to a machine. Users are anyone who needs to use a machine: cashiers, clerks, pharmacists, managers, and IT pros.

You may want to set different policies for different groups in your organization. For example, you may want your clerks to have access to only one or two programs on a machine, while allowing your department managers access to other programs.

WEPOS allows you to control access in the same way that you would if you were using Windows XP. This includes adding, deleting, and restricting user accounts directly on the machine with the Control Panel and using a server system such as Windows Server 2003 and Active Directory to set up policies for groups of users.
