Monitoring with MOM 2005 or Operations Manager 2007

Monitoring your BizTalk applications and infrastructure with MOM 2005 or Operations Manager 2007 is the preferred monitoring approach. The Microsoft BizTalk Server management packs for MOM 2005 and Operations Manager 2007 provide proactive and reactive monitoring of computers running BizTalk Server. These management packs provide dozens of built-in, customizable rules to allow for comprehensive and automated monitoring of BizTalk Server.

Refer to the following table about BizTalk Server management packs to determine the best management pack to meet your monitoring needs. These management packs are provided as a Web download for users of BizTalk Server. Also note that you can convert the BizTalk Server 2006 R2 Management Pack for MOM 2005 to run with Operations Manager 2007.
