Adding an Administrator Account

5/10/2007

The Administrator Account component allows you to specify the password for the local Administrator account. You can include only one Administrator Account component in your configuration.

If you do not add the Administrator Account component, the run-time image is created with a single user account with full administrative privileges.

By default, the password for the Administrator is blank.

  1. In Target Designer, add the Administrator Account component to your configuration.

For more information, see Adding a Component to a Configuration in Windows XP Embedded Studio Help.
