AIF Data Model (Transport Layer)

This topic describes the Application Integration Framework (AIF) tables used in configuring AIF. When you configure a document exchange, the settings are saved in the Microsoft Dynamics AX database.

Within AIF, some tables are used to store configuration information while other tables are used to temporarily hold data as it moves through the system. The following tables are used by AIF to process documents and save configuration settings. For more information, see "Configuring and managing AIF" in the Server and Database Administration Help.

Endpoint configuration tables store information about endpoints as well as information about their relationship to documents through services, actions, action policies, and data policies. Endpoint constraints and authorized users are also stored in this group of tables.
