Given when the value of the Value attribute for an <MSHelp:Attr> element exceeds 256 characters. The <MSHelp:Attr> element is used to associate an attribute with a topic. For more information, see Microsoft Help XML Data Island Markup.

To correct this warning

  • Edit the value of the attribute so that it does not exceed 256 characters.

This warning does not apply to the AttVal element in the attribute definition (.HxA) file.
