Given when the compiler encounters an attribute in a topic that has not been defined in the attribute definition (.HxA) file for the project. Within a topic, attributes are specified in the Name attribute of an <MSHelp:Attr> element in the XML data island.

To correct this warning

  • Check the element for syntax or formatting errors.

  • Verify that each attribute is defined in the attribute definition (.HxA) file before adding attributes to topics.
